JSA, today

Everybody gets the crew times. Change one man's below if he came late or left early.

The JSA

Fill it out here and it saves with the ticket. It stays with the ticket in the office and never goes to the customer or QuickBooks.

Reminder emails

To the sub or the man, copy to the office, this many days before something expires.

These go when you tap the button. A scheduled send needs a back end.

Bids

Start a bid

Bids on file

Format shown is a placeholder until Murray supplies one real past bid; the tool adopts their format, not ours.

Money

Every invoice the office has sent, what happened to it, and how long each customer takes to pay. Sample data behind the figures.

Job P&L

Job margin is live from approved tickets. Company P&L is QuickBooks, as of last sync. Cost rates here are samples until Murray's real ones land.

Problems

Handed off

Dated problems first, soonest first, overdue at the top. Everything with no date follows, by dollars at risk. Sample businesses carry made-up numbers.

Companies

Murray Welding is live from the demo data. The other two are sample businesses.

Ask

Across every company

Scripted from the same numbers as the Problems tab.

DOT

This keeps your inspection and time records. It is not an electronic logging device and does not replace one.

Sample data. The originals stay in the truck.

Ask

One place that knows the whole shop
Tap, ask the question, and it talks back.

In this demo the answers come from the data on these screens. In the real one they come from your tickets, QuickBooks and FuelCloud. The microphone needs Safari on iPhone. Add it to the home screen and the mic will not run from there.

Start a job

The JSA comes first. Saving it opens the ticket with the same number and this header on it; the crew adds their own work to the ticket during the day.

His crew and trucks

Filled in from the supervisor. Take off anyone who did not show.

Every man on the crew goes on the JSA unsigned and gets a line on the ticket. He signs his own line on the Sign-in tab.

Labor and parts land on that machine's record and this month's shop cost.

I was at the JSA, I understand the hazards and the controls.

Finger or stylus

Send it back

The note stays on the ticket until it comes back fixed.

As the customer gets it

Goes out as a PDF behind the QuickBooks invoice. The JSA is not in it — that stays with the ticket in the office.

Bid, as the customer gets it

Goes out as a PDF on Murray letterhead.

Job cost sheet

One page per job. Internal, not for the customer.

JSA

Stays with the ticket in the office. Never goes to the customer or QuickBooks.

Report a problem

Goes straight to the mechanic's queue with the machine's history attached.
